PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impedance control circuit for impedance matching of a semiconductor device and an external system. SOLUTION: An impedance control circuit includes a malfunction processing unit and when output values of a comparator alternate abnormally, the malfunction processing unit senses and processes it. In addition, when determining a code to determine buffer impedance from two candidate codes, the impedance control circuit determines a candidate code which results in a best impedance match property.
