摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for performing phase change of a silver halide gelatin emulsion from the water system to a solvent system while retaining the dispersibility of silver halide grains contained in the silver halide emulsion, and to provide a method for performing phase change of a dispersion of water system fine particles formed in a water system using a hydrophilic polymer as protective colloid from the water system to a solvent system without deteriorating the dispersibility. SOLUTION: In an organic solvent phase inversion/dispersion method of water system fine particles by which an organic solvent dispersion of water system fine particles is obtained by subjecting a dispersion of water system fine particles using a hydrophilic polymer as protective colloid to phase inversion to an organic solvent phase and dispersion, the dispersion of the water system fine particles using the hydrophilic polymer as protective colloid is mixed with a solution of a synthetic polymer, in the organic solvent, which is soluble in the organic solvent and has a functional group capable of forming hydrogen bond with the hydrophilic polymer.
