PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of notifying easily to an operator the generation of a need for calibration or precision control in each of a plurality of analytical units, and capable of executing exactly the calibration or the precision control, in the each analytical unit, and to provide a support system therefor. SOLUTION: This automatic analyzer has the plurality of analytical units (3A-3G) allocated with an analytical item. When the need for executing the calibration or precision control occurs, a display block related to a cause of the occurrence is flashed out of in the plurality of display blocks 401-404, 501-503, on a state inspection image face. When any of reception buttons 405-408, 505-507 corresponding to the flashed display block is indicated, a related analytical item name and analytical unit name are displayed on display regions 410, 510, and the calibration or precision control is executed, based thereon.
