PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase equal pitch property over the whole length of a screw to screw-in a nut and a female screw smoothly from an end part of the screw and widen a scope of selection of a basic member, a rope-like member, and adhesive to increase commodity property as the screw in a screw manufacturing method for forming a screw groove at the outer periphery of the basic member by winding the rope-like member having a circular cross sectional shape around the outer periphery of the basic member having a circular cross sectional shape spirally and joining the rope-like member with the basic member by a joint material. SOLUTION: When outside diameter of the rope-like member isΦd and outside diameter of a screw forming part of the basic member isΦD, a winding start part having outside diameter beingΦ(D-2d) or less is provided in an end part on at least one side of the basic member to start winding a rope-like part and use the joint material being organic adhesive.
