PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a structure where a columnar structure can be easily formed on a large area using a substitution plating process at low cost. SOLUTION: The method for producing a structure comprising a process where a plating material is filled into pores 14 of a porous layer 13 includes: a stage where a member having a porous layer is prepared on a substrate 11 via a base film 12 electrochemically nobler than the plating material; and a stage where the plating material is filled into the pores of the porous layer by a displcement plating method. The plating material comprises at least one selected from Zn, Fe, Co, Ni, Sn, Cu, Ag, Rh, Pd, Pt and Au. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
