An impact absorbing guard rail using rotation of a rotary rope is provided to improve the dispersion of the impact and minimize the impact area of the vehicle and guard rail by using the rotary plate and dividing the guard rail into upper and lower guard rails, and a center rope. An impact absorbing guard rail using rotation of a rotary rope comprises a rotary plate connected to a support made of a steel material; and a noctilucence rotary rope shaped like a wedge and connected to the rotary plate. The rotary rope is rotated toward the moving direction of the vehicle when the vehicle collides with the center part of the guard rail, and the moving direction of the vehicle is kept after the collision to prevent the second accident. The guard rail is divided into upper and lower guard rails and a rotary rope of the center part to disperse the impact applied to the guard rail into three parts.
