A metal frame is provided to remove necessity of separately manufacturing a cap for covering a coupling groove and therefore omit an operation for inserting the cap into the coupling groove. A metal frame includes a coupling groove(111), projections(T), and a cap(120). The coupling groove is formed along a post surface of a metal body in a longitudinal direction thereof. The projections project from both inlet sides of the coupling groove to have a width narrower than that of an inner part of the coupling groove. The cap is formed at the inlet part of the coupling groove. The cap extends from the projection to be integrally formed with the metal body, thereby covering the coupling groove.
