PURPOSE: To prevent any external force from interfering a traveling object in a full axial type positioning control system for performing highly accurate positioning. CONSTITUTION: In this electronic component mounting device C equipped with an XY positioning controller D and for mounting electronic parts 21 on a circuit board 22, a Y1 axial side Y axis linear motor is driven so that a beam 3 can be moved to a prescribed position L of the Y1 axis prior to actual driving, and position information L+ΔLa of the beam 3 of a Y2 axis in a free-run state is detected by a Y2 axial side Y axis linear encoder so that corrected position information ΔMAa can be calculated from the corrected position information ΔLa, and the Y1 axial side Y axis linear motor is driven so that the beam 3 can be moved to an actual driving position M of the Y1 axis in actual driving, and a Y axis linear motor 5B is driven so that the beam 3 can be moved to a position M+ΔMAa of the Y2 axis. |
