<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection part structure of a pipe fitting to hardly generate cracking and exfoliation in its part near the inner side end which is located at the fitting end part in the fitting axial direction in such a condition that the end is pressure-connected and may contact with the fluid flowing inside. SOLUTION: A diametrically contracting transition surface CS with the inner diameter decreasing toward the inside of the fitting in the axial direction is formed in a single piece structure between a resiliently abutting surface forming part A1 located outside of a retaining ring 4 about the fitting axial direction and a resilient inside surface forming part A2 located on the side nearer the inside surface, wherein the arrangement should meet the condition that D2>D1, where D1 is a distance between the axial direction outer end position of the transition surface CS and the radial direction extending surface of the retaining ring 4 provided that the axial direction outer end position e1 is arranged as the side nearer the outside surface in the radial direction than the circumferential direction extending surface S1 of the retaining ring 4, while D2 is a distance between the axial direction outer end position of the transition surface CS and the radial direction inner end position about the axial direction.</p> |
