<p>The invention relates to a scanning head (36) for a coordinate measuring device (1). The scanning head comprises a scanning head support (43) which may be fixed to the coordinate measuring device (1), a scanning stylus housing (77), for housing a scanning stylus (37) in a rest position, a sensor (80), for recording a deflection of the scanning stylus housing (77), relative to the scanning head support (43) and a collision contact (90) at at least one contact position, lying in a plane arranged orthogonal to a straight line (53), running between the scanning head support (43) and the scanning stylus housing (77) in the rest positions thereof. A maximum separation of the plane from the scanning head support (43) corresponds to the separation of the scanning stylus housing (77) from the scanning head support (43), the contact position (90) is arranged outside the sensor (80) with relation to the straight line and the collision contact (90) may be deflected relative to the scanning head support (43) together with the scanning stylus housing (77).</p> |
