A safety circuit of a microwave oven is provided to prevent a fire in the microwave oven by preventing relays from being fused due to a continual supply of voltage. In a safety circuit of a microwave oven, a micro computer(10) generates a predetermined signal to control operations of a power relay(RY2), a grill relay(RY3), and a main relay(RY1) of the microwave oven. A first current path receives a main relay control signal generated from the micro computer(10) and transfers to the main relay(RY1). A second current path receives a power relay control signal generated from the micro computer(10) and transfers to the power relay(RY2). A transistor(Q33) operates by receiving a grill relay control signal generated from the micro computer(10). A third current path connects a collector terminal of the transistor(Q33) to the grill relay(RY3). And, an emitter terminal of the transistor(Q33) is connected to the main relay(RY1). |
