An improved data loading method of a UIM and a mobile communication terminal using the same are provided to separately manage a change history of data and load user data from the UIM to the mobile communication terminal only when two user data and change histories, respectively stored in the UIM and the mobile communication terminal, are consistent with each other, thereby reducing unnecessary data loading time when mounting the UIM. An improved data loading method of a UIM(User identity Module) comprises the following steps of: loading a change history of user information and user data to a mobile communication terminal(S201); determining whether a change history of user information and user data, pre-stored in a storage of the mobile communication terminal, is consistent with the loaded change history of the user information and the user data(S203); and loading user data only when the two change histories are inconsistent with each other(S204).
