<p>A disc recording/reproducing apparatus includes a main frame (210), a disc cartridge (100) including a case (110) with an opening (111a) on a bottom thereof to expose a disc-type recording medium and a window (111f) on a sidewall thereof, a shutter (107) mounted in the case (110) to expose and cover the opening (111a), a rotary wheel (109) operating in association with the shutter (107), and a latch unit (130) formed at one side of the case (110) to control rotation of the rotary wheel (109), a tray (230) mounting the disc cartridge (100) and moving with respect to the main frame (210), a shutter opening/closing unit (250) connected to one side of the main frame (210), a rack member (253a) of a cantilever type contacting with the rotary wheel (109), and first and second connection ribs (255a,255b) connected to a static part (251) of the shutter opening/closing unit (250), and a cam (231) guiding the rack member (253a) distanced in relation to or from the latch unit (130), during shutter opening/closing operations.</p> |
