A cartridge for an image forming apparatus with an electronic element is provided to efficiently shield the electronic element from electromagnetic waves generated in a contact line between a photosensitive drum and a charging roller so that operation of the electronic element can be smoothly performed. A cartridge(100) for an image forming apparatus comprises the followings: an electronic element(112) for wireless communication which is spaced as much as a predetermined distance from a contact line(Q) between a charging roller(101) and a photosensitive drum(102); and a metallic shielding member which is interposed between the contact line(Q) and the electronic element(112) to form a shielding area(A) for shielding electromagnetic waves generated from the contact line(Q), and is formed to enable the electronic element(112) to be positioned within the shielding area(A) except a boundary portion of the shielding area(A).
