THE FRUITS EXTRACTS OF DENDROPANAX MORBIFERA LEVEILLE HAVING THE EXCELLENT BIOLOGICAL ACTIVITY

Provided are fruit extracts of Dendropanax morbifera Lev., which are superior in biological activities such as anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-microbial activities and are applicable to functional health foods, food additives, beverage compositions, fodder additives, etc. The fruit extracts of Dendropanax morbifera Lev. are obtained by the steps of: drying fruits of Dendropanax morbifera Lev. in the shade; grinding the dried fruits into fine powder; immersing the fruit powder of Dendropanax morbifera Lev. in 70% ethanol to carry out extraction for an hour three times using ultrasonic waves; collecting the supernatant of the ethanol extract to be concentrated under reduced pressure; suspending the concentrate in water; and extracting the suspension with hexane, ethyl acetate, and butanol in sequence to obtain respective fractions.
