<p>A method for accessing a 1x system from a 2G system and a system therefor are provided to include information about channel setup accessible to the 1x system in a region where the current terminal is positioned, in information about a lot of channel setup supplied to the terminal in the 2G system, thus the terminal can access the 1x system without waiting for transmission of a separate SRM(Service Redirection Message). A mobile communication terminal capable of using both 2G service and 1x service accesses a 2G system, and is allocated with a communication channel(S200). It is sensed whether a 1x service request is inputted while a key is inputted by a user(S202). If so, an access operation to a 1x system is carried out without being provided with an SRM(S204-S208).</p> |
