<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method for an inkjet recording device capable of preventing the adhesion of ink on a platen surface and the clogging of a suction hole formed on the surface of a platen with ink. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device, which performs recording in ink ejected from a printing head ejecting the ink, is provided with a means for ejecting a cleaning liquid different from the ink and a head ejecting the cleaning liquid, enabling the platen surface and the suction hole formed on the platen surface to be cleaned, with the adhesion of ink and clogging of the suction hole with ink being prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
