<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mutual interference when multiplexing conversion (filtering) of print data that is a mechanism facilitating customization of PDL data, in a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The printer allowing the filtering (filter insertion) comprises: a means inserting an identifying tag before and after a character string converted in time of completion of one piece of the filtering; and a means prohibiting filtering work of an area designated by the identifying tag in time of another piece of the filtering. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
