<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force sense imparting type input device preventing protruding due to momentum of an indication position from a lead-in area set in response to a desired functional area when moving the indication position between a plurality of functional areas set with lead-in areas. <P>SOLUTION: In regard to two functional areas B1 and B2 adjacently arranged on a virtual display screen stored in a storing means, when moving the indication position P from a center O1 of the functional area B1 to a center position O2 of the functional area B2, the lead-in area A1 is extended in a direction of the lead-in area A2, and the lead-in area A2 is contracted in a direction of the lead-in area A1.
