APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING RUST IN SPRINKLER ARRANGED AROUND DANGEROUS OBJECT STORAGE TANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing rust in a sprinkler arranged around a dangerous object storage tank, in each of which a solid such as rust being an obstacle when water is sprinkled through a sprinkler nozzle is discharged forcibly from a water sprinkling pipeline to surely hinder the sprinkler nozzle from being clogged by the solid such as rust, and a method for removing the rust.

SOLUTION: The sprinkler arranged around the dangerous object storage tank is provided with: the water sprinkling pipeline arranged around the dangerous object storage tank; and a plurality of sprinkler nozzles which are fit to the water sprinkling pipeline and the water sprinkling port of each of which is arranged facing toward the wall surface of the dangerous object storage tank. Each of sprinkler nozzles is fit upward to the top part of the water sprinkling pipeline. A nozzle to be used as a blowing nozzle is fit to a flange fit to the terminal end of the water sprinkling pipeline in the position of almost the same height as that of the bottom surface of an inner wall of the water sprinkling pipeline.
