LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY APPARATUS AND PROJECTOR

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the display of a frame-like abnormal frame on the outside of an effective display area of a liquid crystal display panel even when burrs are generated in a dicing step of a liquid crystal display apparatus.

SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display apparatus provided with the liquid crystal display panel comprising a pair of substrates consisting of first and second substrates and a liquid crystal layer held between the pair of substrates: the first substrate has a common electrode on a surface opposed to the second substrate; the second substrate has a plurality of reflection electrodes formed on a surface opposed to the first substrate, a first conductive film arranged so as to surround these reflection electrodes and a second conductive film arranged so as to surround the periphery of the first conductive film; common voltage to be applied to the common electrode is applied to the first conductive film; and reference voltage (GND) is applied to the second film.
