APPARATUS FOR PREVENTING BIRD INJURY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electrode members for an apparatus for preventing bird injuries designed to deliver a stable electric shock to birds perching on the electrode members even when used outdoors over a long period by using the electrode members having excellent weather and corrosion resistances and conductivity in the apparatus for preventing the bird injuries in which a voltage is applied to the electrode members installed in a site where the birds come flying and the electric shock is delivered to the birds perching thereon to repel the birds.

SOLUTION: The apparatus for preventing the bird injuries is designed to apply the voltage to the pair of electrode members installed in the site where the birds come flying, deliver the electric shock to the birds perching on the electrode members and repel the birds. The apparatus is characterized in that at least of a part of the exposed electrode members are composed of a non-metal material having volume resistivity within the range of 0.0005-0.005Ωcm.
