PRETREATMENT LIQUID OF SLICE OF BIOTISSUE, AND OBSERVATION METHOD OF PROTEIN AND NUCLEIC ACID IN BIOTISSUE USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pretreatment liquid of the slice of biotissue which enables the observation of nucleic acid and protein in a cell at the same time, and a method for simultaneously observing nucleic acid and protein in the same slice of the biotissue using the pretreatment liquid.

SOLUTION: The pretreatment liquid of the immobilized slice of the biotissue contains a citric acid buffer solution, a chelating agent and polyethylene glycol alkyl phenyl ether represented by the following formula (I) (wherein R is a 4-12C straight chain and/or branched chain alkyl group and n is 6-12) and has a pH of 6.5-7.5. The simultanous observation method of nucleic acid and protein in the slice of the biotissue using pretreatment liquid is also disclosed.
