PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sheet capable of being used in a condenser, a capacitor and a battery, showing a sufficient effect in high energy and large output and useful as the separator of a secondary battery or a capacitor equipped with both of a shut-down function and a high temperature shape stability. SOLUTION: The composite sheet has a layered structure of at least two layers constituted by laminating a porous sheet layer, which comprises a thermoplastic polymer having at least a melting point of 200°C or below, and a nonwoven fabric sheet layer comprising fibrid, short fiber or fibrillated pulp of an organic compound having no substantially stable melting point.
