PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accomplish high-image-quality printing by enabling the stable ejection of a large droplet and a small droplet, even if a printing time interval is long. SOLUTION: In this inkjet head, a first mode ejection port and a second mode ejection port are provided on the same substrate. The first mode ejection port makes a liquid form a liquid meniscus on the side wall of an ejection port. The second mode ejection port comprises: a recessed part which is opened with an area larger than an opening area of the first mode ejection port, in the direction of ejecting the liquid as a droplet; and a fine pore which is provided on the bottom surface part of the recessed part in such a manner as to communicate with a liquid channel.
