PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data display device capable of preventing a failure of missing a tendency, a feature point, a regularity, etc., that a multivariate data series has, when detecting them. SOLUTION: A data display device 1 sets mutually different colors to be assigned to a value of each category item by an assignment method established beforehand, calculates the proportion of one variate data in one variate data distribution, and carries out the processing of displaying each assigned color in a display frame of a plurality of display frames shown on a screen of the display device corresponding to the one variate data distribution according to the proportion of one variate data randomly and densely. By this arrangement, the overall tendency, the feature point, the regularity, etc., of the multivariate data series, which are not expressed but hidden in the traditional uniform way of assignment, can be expressed clearly.
