PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which enables image communication with character recognition regardless of conditions of images. SOLUTION: This image processing system is an image processing system which is connected to an image communication system 10 performing preprocessing using set parameters and executing character recognition processing to image data after preprocessing, acquires the image data to be processed from the image communication system 10, performs preprocessing to acquired image data using a plurality of parameter candidates, generates a plurality of image data resulting from preprocessing corresponding to each parameter candidate, presents to users estimation results of recognition ratio in character recognition processing to each image data, and allows the users to select the image data.
