摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forming apparatus and a method for electrophotographic image using a wet developing means by which toner images of high density and sharpness without black spots and fogging can be obtained even when a large number of image is printed, and also to provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor, and a processing cartridge. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor has an intermediate layer including at least inorganic particles and a binder between a conductive substrate and an uppermost layer and the electrophotographic image forming apparatus has thereon an electrostatic charging means, an exposing means, a developing means for developing the image by a developer including a toner, and a transferring means for transferring the toner image formed by the developing means via or without via an intermediate transfer member onto a recording material. The developing means is a wet developing means using a liquid developer and a number average primary particle diameter of the inorganic particles is from 5 to 300 nm and intermediate layer is covered with the uppermost layer.
