PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flocculation and dehydration method of muddy water by which water content of dehydrated cake is low, dehydrating property of a flock is improved and thereby dehydration time can be shortened. SOLUTION: An inorganic flocculant A is added to the muddy water, stirring mixing is carried out, then an organic flocculant B is added thereto and slow stirring is carried out to produce flocks L. An inorganic flocculant C is added to the flocks L and stirring mixing is carried out to decompose or destroy the flocks and then dehydration treatment thereof is carried out.
