PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catcher for a crane game machine where game property of the crane game machine is improved, an amusement facility secures a proper profit, and a player's desire for a game is not damaged. SOLUTION: Gripping force of gripping arms provided at the catcher of the crane game machine is adjusted automatically. The relation between an opening angle of the gripping arms and the gripping force of the gripping arms is set to consist of an area in which the gripping force is nearly 0 without regard to the opening angle of the gripping arms and an area in which the gripping force is increased nearly proportionally with the increase of the opening angle of the gripping arms, and opening angle of the gripping arms becoming the boundary of the areas is adjusted automatically. Adjusting of the gripping force of the gripping arms is realized by connecting a helical spring, a cord and feeding out mechanism of the cord to each gripping arm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
