PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charcoal humidity conditioning board causing no stain due to charcoal upon the contact with the humidity conditioning board using charcoal, sufficiently drawing out the humidity conditioning action of charcoal, having strength in spite of a light weight and having a sufficient heat insulating effect, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: Charcoal such as crushed charcoal, activated carbon, powder charcoal or the like, vegetable virgin pulp (fiber) and water are mixed, desired pressure is added to this mixture to dehydrate the same, the dehydrated mixture is dried as it is to be molded and the surface of the molded one is thinly coated with polyvinyl alcohol to obtain the charcoal humidity conditioning board.
