A computer tomography imaging procedure splits a detector output data set for a set angle and region into thinned sets each covering the whole region and correlates the resulting intermediate image data sets for the reconstruction of an image data set without uncorrelated data. Independent claims are included for computer tomography equipment using the procedure.
