METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VERIFYING IDENTITY ON BOARD AN AIRCRAFT

The invention concerns a method for verifying identity on board an aircraft combining biometric authenticating means with monitoring means enabling the conditions in which the biometric authentication is performed to be monitored. According to complementary steps of the inventive, communication means are provided for communicating data concerning the identity verification to the ground and in that a condition of alarm is triggered if the data indicate an abnormal situation on board the aircraft. The invention also concerns a device for implementing the method.
