[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A paper container made of a laminate having at least a paper layer, wherein the paper layer has a cutout part, the cutout part is coated with a gas-barrier laminate and the gas-barrier layer of the gas-barrier laminate comprises a composition containing a hydrolytic condensation product of a neutralized polymer having at least one functional group selected from among a carboxyl group and a carboxylic anhydride group with at least a compound (L) containing a metal atom to which at least a characteristic group selected from a halogen atom and an alkoxy group is attached. The -COO- group contained in at least one functional group as described above has been at least partly neutralized with a divalent or higher metal ion.
