<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for generating and providing a magnified image including an image part which a user desirably confirms as to whether or not the image part is well photographed from an image picked up by a digital camera or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An image provision apparatus captures image data from an IC card inserted into an IC card I/F 214 together with cross-referenced photographing information (S410), and stores the captured image data and the photographing information to a RAM 208 (S420). When the user I/F 212 receives a "magnified thumbnail provision instruction" (YES: S430), the image provision apparatus reads information associated with a focal position from the photographing information stored in the RAM 208 (S440), generates a partially magnified image (magnified thumbnail) around the focal position (X1, Y1) (S450), and displays the generated magnified thumbnail on a display section 216 (S460). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
