<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zero-degree assistant's device for a microscope capable of enabling an assistant to easily (further safely) perform side change and making the size or the height (therefore, the size or the height of the structure of a microscope having the device) of the structure as small as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The zero-degree assistant's device for a microscope has: an eyepiece tube carrier (2) for a principal observer's eyepiece tube; an interface (5) for a microscope body; an assistant's module (6) having an interface (7) for an assistant's eyepiece tube and pivotable about an axis (4); and 1st and/or 2nd retaining device (8, 12) for releasing and immobilizing the assistant's module (6), and also the eyepiece tube carrier (2) for the principal observer's eyepiece tube is supported pivotably about a rotation axis (10) in such a way that the pivoting of the eyepiece tube carrier (2) for the principal observer's eyepiece tube into a tilted position makes possible unrestricted pivoting of the the assistant's module (6). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
