摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electrooptical device using liquid crystal etc., to provide display of high quality by simplifying a laminated structure and manufacturing processes. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical device has data lines and scanning lines, and thin film transistors arranged below the data lines. Further, the electrooptical device has storage capacitors which are arranged above the data lines and each constituted by laminating a pixel-potential-side electrode, a dielectric film, and a fixed-potential-side electrode in order from below, pixel electrodes which are arranged by pixels and electrically connected to the pixel-potential-side electrodes and thin film transistors, and an inter-layer insulating film laminated above the dielectric films.
