<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which excess temperature rise of a non-paper passing area covered with a magnetic flux generation part is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device 100 in an electromagnetic induction heating system constituted by arranging the magnetic flux generation part outside a fixing roller has a fixing roller 1, a pressure roller 2, a magnetic flux generation part 3, an air blowing part 5 and an exhaust part 6. The air blowing part 5 has an air blowing fan 51 for forming cooling wind and an air blowing duct 52 for introducing the cooling air to a gap part between the fixing roller 1 and the magnetic flux generation part 3. On the other hand, the exhaust part 6 has an exhaust fan 61 and an exhaust guide 62.
