<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording medium rental system that, when a plurality of information recording media with voice information or image information recorded thereon are rented, enables users to easily confirm part of the information recorded on the information recording media to be rented, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The information recording medium rental system has an RFID 50 that stores the ID information of the information recording medium 12 and that is affixed to a display package 14 showing the recording on the information recording medium 12; a rental managing part 30 for storing summary information about the recording on the information storage medium 12 and the ID information; and a mobile terminal 70 capable of communicating with the RFID 50 and the rental managing part 30. The mobile terminal 70 reads the ID information stored in the RFID 50 and communicates with the rental managing part 30 to acquire the summary information associated with the ID information.
