<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology which can switch devices at a high speed so that a user cannot perceive even if moving video data such as MPEG, etc. using compression between frames are used. <P>SOLUTION: If a switching end device receives media output notification from a switching source device, a switch 401 is connected with a contact B, and all image data stored in an extended media buffer 402 are inputted in a decoder 201 from a head frame (I frame). The decoder 201 performs decoding from the I frame, and holds a reconstructed image in a reconstructed buffer 202. The reconstructed image which is necessary for decoding moving video data outputted from a media buffer 2108 are held in the reconstructed image buffer 202, and the decoder 201 can promptly perform decoding irrespective whether inputted moving video data inputted from the media buffer 2108 at the time of device switching, form an intra frame or not. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
