<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a drive of a hybrid vehicle without considerably changing an existing vehicle body structure, and to achieve the high output of a motor generator. <P>SOLUTION: An engine 18 and a motor generator 19 are provided on a drive 11 of a hybrid vehicle which is mounted longitudinally. A transmission case 40 is provided on a rear side of the vehicle in the engine 18, and a speed change mechanism 42 to be connected to a rear end of a crank shaft 32 is stored therein. Further, a motor case 30 is provided on a front side of the vehicle in the engine 18, and a rotor 33 connected to a front end of the crank shaft 32 is stored therein. The size of the motor generator 19 can be increased without restricting the outside diameter of the motor generator 19 by a floor tunnel. In addition, the shape of a rear part of the drive 11 can be formed in much the same shape as that of an existing power unit, and the drive 11 can be mounted without considerably changing an existing vehicle body structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
