ENGINE CONTROL DEVICE FOR HYBRID AUTOMOBILE MOUNTED WITH HYDROGEN ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the worsening of fuel consumption in a hybrid automobile mounted with a hydrogen engine caused by motor assist upon a request of gentle acceleration.

SOLUTION: While prohibiting an increase in the output torque of an electric motor 2 upon the request of gentle acceleration, this engine control device allows a fuel injection amount to be greater than a target fuel injection amount so that the air-fuel ratio of the hydrogen engine 1 is richer than a target air-fuel ratio.
