PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display equipped with a transmission type disk pointer capable of displaying a character and a scale provided in a dial overlappedly with the pointer. SOLUTION: In this display provided with the dial 1, the light transmission disk pointer 2, and a light source 8 for the light transmission disk pointer, the light source 8 for the light transmission disk pointer is arranged in a position opposed to the central part of the light transmission disk pointer 2, and light is emitted toward the central part of the light transmission disk pointer 2. The light transmission disk pointer 2 is constituted of a translucent material, and the light emitted from the light source 8 for the light transmission disk pointer is reflected on an outer circumferential end of the light transmission disk pointer 2 to advance omnidirectionally in an inside of a disk part 2b of the light transmission disk pointer 2. A groove 11 is provided further on a reverse face of the light transmission disk pointer 2 to reflect the light advancing in the inside of the light transmission disk pointer 2 to a viewer side.
