PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistance protective tube capable of storing or discharging outward the gas generated from paper cores and/or sheath materials when immersed into objects to be inspected of high temperature. SOLUTION: The heat resistance protective tube 1 is equipped with an sheath material 3 coating the peripheral surface of a paper core 2 and a single or a plurality of hollow portions 4, which is prepared in an extent from a boundary section between the paper core 2 and the sheath material 3 to a peripheral surface of the armoring material 3, capable of containing the gas generated from the paper core 2 and/or the sheath material 3 when immersed into objects to be inspected of high temperature.
