PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire holding device capable of easily and quickly adjusting the gap in the axial direction of rim members and securely holding the respective rim members coaxially so that mutual displacement in the radial direction is not generated. SOLUTION: The axial position of an upper rim member 40 with respect to an upper rotary shaft 20 is changed by moving the upper rotary shaft 20 in the axial direction with respect to an outer shaft 10 in the state that a rim holding mechanism 20b and a holding mechanism 20c are reduced in diameter. Thus, the axial gap between the upper rim member 40 and a lower rim member 50 can be easily and quickly adjusted. An engagement hole 20h and an engagement protrusion 30d are provided to the rotary shafts 20, 30, respectively, and the rim members 40, 50 are held by the rotary shafts 20, 30, respectively.
