PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas temperature control device of a simple structure and easy control. SOLUTION: This invented exhaust gas temperature control device 1 is provided with an exhaust gas passage 12 connected to an internal combustion engine E1, a main exhaust emission control catalyst 14 purifying exhaust gas G0, an auxiliary exhaust emission control catalyst 16 installed in an upstream of a main exhaust emission control catalyst 14 in the exhaust gas passage 12 and purifying exhaust gas G0, an oxygen enriched air supply means 18 supplying oxygen enriched air AO to the exhaust gas passage 12, and a fuel supply means 20 supplying fuel F into the exhaust gas passage. The oxygen enriched air supply means 18 is provided with an oxygen enriched air passage 24 branching at a section 18a of an intake air passage 22 and merging at an upstream section 18b of the auxiliary exhaust emission control catalyst 16 of the exhaust gas passage 12, a pressurizing means P installed in the oxygen enriched air passage 24 and pressurizing intake air A to make the same pressurized air A, and a component separation means 26 separating gas component of the pressurized air A and making the same oxygen enriched air AO.
