PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply tension to a tension sheet by a simple operation, surely apply the tension thereto, surely retain the state, and respond to a difference in dimension of the tension sheet and slack and elongation of the tension sheet itself. SOLUTION: This body supporting device is provided with a frame 1, the tension sheet 2 tensioned to the frame 1 and supporting the body of a user, a first sheet fixing means 17 supporting one end of the tension sheet 2 and attaching it to the frame 1, and a second sheet fixing means 18 supporting the other end of the tension sheet 2, winding the tension sheet 2 around a part (a pipe frame 6) forming a body supporting face of the frame 1 and fixing it with its turned around. The second sheet fixing means 18 is provided with a lever 13 having its rotation center 14 fixed to the frame and a lever fixing means 15 preventing the rotation of the lever 13 at a position where the rotation of the lever 13 exceeds a dead point and fixing the lever 13 thereto.
