[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A surface mounted vibration motor comprising a vibration motor having an eccentric weight attached to the rotary shaft, a metal holder that holds the trunk of the vibration motor body to be solder-joined to a fixed area for mounting on a circuit board side, and a pair of feed terminals for energizing a rotation drive mechanism inside the vibration motor body, characterized in that a plurality of protruding convex rails extending in the axial direction of the rotary shaft or a plurality of semi-spherical protrusions are disposed on the bottom surface of the metal holder that holds the trunk of the vibration motor body to contact and be solder-joined to a fixed area for mounting on a circuit board side.
