The device has a light modulator (4), and a light source (2) with a set of laser diodes (7), where each diode emits light in a range of 350 nanometers to 450 nanometers. The light radiated from each diode is limited to a desired narrow frequency interval and is strongly bundled by an integrated resonator. Radiant flux of each diode is superimposed in a light coupling device (3) that includes glass fibers (8). Each glass fiber has a diameter of about 125 micrometers and is assigned to respective laser diode.
