<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery used for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is composed by inserting, into a battery case, an electrode plate group where a positive electrode plate containing a lithium-containing transition metal oxide as an active material and a negative electrode plate containing a substance capable of storing and releasing lithium as an active material are insulated from each other through a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, and is excelling in reliability by preventing an internal short circuit by dissolving and diffusing foreign matter mixed during assembly on the negative electrode side. <P>SOLUTION: After at least one charging after composing this battery, discharging is executed until the potential of the negative electrode is set to 2.0-3.35V with respect to the oxidation-reduction potential of lithium, and the battery is left behind as it is for three or minutes or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
